Koko and Kev: the travel buddies
This week we have Koko the koala and Kev the kiwi visiting with us. These travel buddies are visiting schools all around the world and sharing their adventures in each place on their blog: plctravelbuddies.blogspot.com.au The travel buddies started off in the school of a teacher friend of Mrs Knipe’s in Sydney and so far have travelled around Australia and then have visited schools New Zealand, Malaysia and England. We enjoyed reading about all their adventures, though we were a little jealous of the school in Malaysia that had a huge swimming pool as part of their grounds! This is a great chance for us to practice all of our cybersafety and digital citizenship skills for a real audience and we are having a great time writing up information about what our school days are like at Modbury West and sharing some of the highlights of our school via photos.
Here is a photo of all of us with Kev and Koko and we will share some more information about what we have been up to with you soon.

Welcome to The Knowledge Zone. This is the online space where our class will be sharing all of the fantastic learning we are doing together in 2015. You can look forward to seeing lots of different learning areas highlighted and you can have the opportunity to become part of our online community by adding your comments to the posts we write. Check out our “Using The Knowledge Zone” page for ideas of how to comment and how to keep yourself safe while working online.
We’re looking forward to sharing our learning with you
